Welcome to the Criminal Justice Support website. We are here to provide you with all the links and information you could want regarding Criminal Justice Support. People working at a standard nine to five in an office have a pretty good idea of what their day will involve.

Each morning they are fairly certain of what to expect from the coming day. For correctional facility guards and police officers, however, every day is a new and unpredictable challenge. It can even be potentially dangerous.

Whether they are preventing prison break attempts, dealing with a domestic abuse case, responding to a suicide, or investigating criminals, there is always the chance that they will be soon faced with a situation in which their physical well-being is threatened.

As well as the danger of physical harm, people working in the criminal justice field also have to deal with the negative public perception of their job, and often, of themselves. There have been some highly publicized crimes committed by law enforcement agents, which have included corruption, theft and brutality, and as a result the rest of the workforce in these roles are tarnished by the same stigma that is attached to the rogue elements.

It is even harder to deal with when you consider that this stigma is coming from the community that they are charged with protecting. Law enforcement agents face this challenge daily challenge, and have to work hard to overcome this negative stereotype.
